OK so festival season is upon us. Glastonbury is (almost) in full swing, with those who were lucky enough to get tickets, are now pitched up and ready to party. Admittedly, sharing a camp site with 80,000 other people, 79,881 of them being people I don’t know, eating cans of ravioli for tea and using baby wipes to sanitise has never really appealed to me. Watching all of my favourite bands live, spending time with friends and wearing some of the most bazaar, yet utterly fabulous outifits, I have ever put together, really does appeal to me – so smelly port-a-loos for a week it is!
My favourite trend this year is socks and wellies. I love how easy it is to inject some quirky details into an outfit – I purposely bought some grey wellies knowing that the neutral colour would allow them to consistently go with every outfit, all I need to do now is buy some socks to match each dress and I’m done!!!
At Cheeky Legs, we have some incredibly stunning scarlet red Pamela Mann over the knee socks which would look very festival chic with wellies. For those who are daring enough to add some extra wild detail we have some Pamela Mann red and white candy striped knee high socks which add an original twist to plain wellies! Not only will they look ridiculously fabulous, but they are fantastic value for money, with both pairs each retailing at under £2.50 per pair!
With the festival season well and truly here, and the sock and welly trend being almost as huge as Glastonbury itself! You absolutely need to get your orders in ASAP because you might have managed to get yourself a ticket to your favourite festival but if you miss out on this trend you’ll wish you stayed at home!!!

Festival Fever
Thursday, June 24th, 2010Lace Lust …

And so it’s that time of the year again when the (relatively) warm summer air fills the living area, after the windows have been open all day, and the Big Brother theme tune is playing in the back ground. What frightfully fabulous trend does the latest love-to-hate contestant have in store for us this year??? I’ll jump on the band wagon of any fad, just as long as it doesn’t involve me wearing a pair of jeans!!!Animal Fever!

Transform your boring work outfit into an outfit not only on trend, but one that will also receive attention! Add animal print tights to any outfit for an immediate head turning effect.
Celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Kylie Minogue have followed this trend, so why don’t you have a look at our range of animal print tights for inspiration?!
Everyone’s favourite leopard print pattern is back for the summer, and with this unpredictable British weather, why not wear the patterned tights which not only look amazing, but are also light to wear.
We look forward to seeing many animal legs around town, so bring out the animal in you!
The fashion savvy have spoken …
Thursday, June 10th, 2010The fashion savvy have spoken, legs out is simply not an option! We have bruises on our legs from body boarding in Cornwall, cuts from paintballing for the day and as if that isn’t quite enough; the fake tan is beginning to rub off from behind our knees! No amount of foundation will cover these mammoth flaws, and so after debating for much longer than necessary about possible solutions (over cocktails), the panel (AKA Team Cheeky Legs) were set on sheer tights.
From plain to printed, Cheeky Legs have a huge variety of sheer tights. As a label junkie, I am simply head over heels in love with Henry Hollands Contrast House Tights
! They were first brought to my attention when I saw Agnes Deyn looking insanely fabulous in them; I now have my own pair which have been surgically attached for much long than is socially acceptable! Label lust for £12!
